Lucian — power, security, elegance — authoritative luxury for modern family life
01 · Thesis

Power, security, elegance.

Lucian is a Maserati electric grand-touring SUV designed for the families who run things — diplomats, founders, cultural figures. A 4–6 seater built around a single quiet promise: that the cabin is the car, and everything else exists to protect it. Sculpted body with architectural weight. Confident stance, long wheelbase. Precision lines borrowed from Italian tailoring. The performance is real, but it doesn't announce itself.

02 · Customer

Three uses, one car.

Lucian holds three jobs at once. The cabin is configurable enough to disappear into each role without compromising the next.

Use 01

Executive transport.

Used for family, business, and arrival moments. Business leaders, politicians, cultural figures, diplomats — people who need both presence and privacy.

Use 02

Family luxury car.

Six-seat configuration with three rows. Equal sightlines, no hierarchy between front and rear occupants. Designed for the ride to school, the drive to the airport, the long road home.

Use 03

Art collector's car.

Cabin volume prioritized over cargo theatrics. The under-hood frunk handles luggage; the back is for people, conversation, and the things you don't want in a trunk.

Brooklyn, New York 2030 — urban density, harsh winters, urban culture

A car for a city where luxury and gritty underworld coexist — moving seamlessly between charity galas, school drop-offs, and backroom meetings.

04 · Silhouette

Controlled surfaces, no noise.

Strong shoulder line, signature grille, long wheelbase. The studies test where authority lives — in proportion, not ornament.

05 · Mood

Italian tailoring, architectural weight.

The mood references draw from coachbuilt grand tourers, Brutalist domestic architecture, and the quiet menswear that knows it doesn't need to introduce itself.

06 · Cabin

Seating ideation — two modes, one architecture.

Four-seat executive: lounge postures, reclined, generous spacing, central console as mobile meeting table. Six-seat family: three rows, consistent posture, slightly elevated middle row for equal visibility — no hierarchy between front and rear occupants.

07 · Architecture

Skateboard, not silhouette.

The skateboard battery isn't styled around — it's the premise. Cabin-first means the floor sets the rules, the wheelbase sets the room, and exterior surfacing is what's left when nothing has been added back for theater.

Calm is the new fast.

The brief asked for an SUV. The work argues for something else: an architecture in which the family — not the speed run — is the headline. Lucian doesn't perform authority. It carries it.
